The apartment
The Orange Apartment is composed of a kitchen with living area, large sofa bed (190 x 160), a double bedroom (160x190), a twin bedroom (140 × 190 and 90x190) and shower. Maximum 6 pax. Large balconies overlooking the Borromean Islands and Lake Maggiore. Linen and towels for both bedrooms and bathroom are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, refrigerator, small freezer, dishwasher. Plates, dishes and pots for 6 people. 38 '' TV with satellite channels.
Each apartment has a garage.
Common area: laundry with wash and dry- machines at guests’ disposal.
Upon request, baby cots, highchair, changing table, and baby bath.
The location of this property is "La Tranquilla" in Oltrefiume, a hamlet of Baveno, a prelude to relaxation and peace. The apartment benefits of great sun exposure from early morning until evening and its 4 balconies testify it.
Activities
At the Baveno / Stresa motorway exit there is the AquadventurePark with suspended routes, climbing, acrojump4 and mountain bike paths together with the swimming pool area (one 20x12m one 9x4m plus a smaller one for children) covered and uncovered depending on the weather. There is also a private beach with umbrellas and sunbeds and the pool has different slides providing the possibility of fun for children and families!
Do not miss a visit to the Borromean Islands: Isola Bella and Madre with their palaces and gardens, and Isola Pescatori, an ancient fishing village where you can stop for a romantic dinner and return by private boat.
For greenery and flowers lovers, a visit to the botanical garden of Villa Taranto in Pallanza (Verbania) and Villa Pallavicino in nearby Stresa is a must.
Numerous options for trekking, towards the Mottarone or in the nearby valleys: Val Grande, Val Vigezzo, Val Formazza, Macugnaga.
For golf lovers, Lake Maggiore boasts the presence of 7 golf courses starting from the oldest in Italy, the 9-hole Alpino di Stresa passing through the 18-hole Club Des Iles Borromées, the 9-hole Club Piandisole, the 18-hole Le Robinie, the 9 hole Sporting club Verbania, the 27 hole of Castelconturbia, and finally the 36 hole of Bogogno.
